It is I! The menu: meatloaf, haricots verts ((pronounced hair-i-cos vair)), and garlic new potatoes. In simple terms: meatloaf, skinny green beans and little potatoes with the red skins.
meatloaf
ground pork
ground beef
italian bread crumbs
oregano, salt, pepper
one egg (to hold it together)
salsa (for moisture)
diced onion
diced mushrooms
minced garlic
Combine, put in oven for about 25 minutes on 350.
haricots verts
long, skinny green beans
butter
olive oil
minced garlic
salt and pepper
Melt butter in skillet with olive oil. Throw in the green beans. Cover to let them steam with the butter and olive oil. You'll want to turn them a couple of times so they get coated in the butter, olive oil and garlic mixture. This only takes about 5 minutes. You don't want them to be overcooked.
garlic new potatoes
baby red skinned potatoes, quartered or halved (depending on size)
butter
salt and pepper
minced garlic
Boil the potatoes for about 20 minutes, drain, return to hot pot, add butter, salt, pepper and garlic, toss to coat.
**Notes: To finish cooking everything at the same time, chop everything first, combine meat, put meatloaf in oven, then start cooking the potatoes. When you have about five minutes left on the meatloaf, put your beans on, then drain the potatoes and season.

ash... it was yummy. i made dinner for me. he was out of town. i get the urge to really cook when he's not here b/c he always has something else to do the night i feel like cooking which disappoints me. so i just cook when he's not here so i don't get my feelings hurt when he doesn't eat.
joy... i know!! they were so delish.
